Thank you Afro Pfingsten. Once again, it was simply amazing. With a new concept featuring more food stalls and market stands, the music and culture festival took place in Winterthur. On May 23, 2023, at 10:00 in the morning, it all began and we were full of anticipation and curiosity for what this year would bring.

The sun shone from the sky, bathing the festival location in warm light. The music started playing and the food stalls began preparing their delicacies from all over the world.

From hearty burgers to exotic vegetarian dishes, there was something for every palate. Visitors could sample the different flavors and make new culinary discoveries.

Alongside the music and food, there was also a variety of market stands offering crafts, clothing, jewelry from around the world, and much more. Visitors could leisurely browse the stands and look for unique treasures. One of them was, of course, us, with our handmade baskets (Kiondo) from Kenya.

The festival not only offered a varied entertainment program but also the opportunity to meet new people and have a good time together. It was an atmosphere of joy, togetherness, and cultural diversity.
